Beith, James.
In 1865-1866, Beith visited San Francisco and the Bay area; in Aug., 1876, was one of the commissioners to settle financial affairs of the abolished Klamath Co.; for various periods was a resident of Humboldt, Klamath and Siskiyou Counties. His father, James Beith, Sr., from Scotland, was a farmer at Arcata.
