Case Western Reserve University Matthew A. Baxter School of Information and Library Science Alumni Association

The Alumni Association was created by alumni of the School of Library Science, Western Reserve University 6/23/1908.

The School was closed effective 7/1/1986. From 1986 on, functions of the Alumni Association continued under the aegis of the School of Graduate Studies.

• 1908 - 1910 : social and educational events for members, fundraising
• 1910 - 1920 : social and educational events for members, fundraising, publication of newsletters
• 1920 - 1950 : social & educational events for members, fundraising, publication of newsletters & alumni directory
• 1950 - 1985 : social and educational events for members, fundraising, publication of newsletters
• 1986: social and educational events for members, including continuing education programs, fundraising

• 1908 - 1924 : Western Reserve University Library School Alumni Association
• 1925 - 1967 : Western Reserve University School of Library Science Alumni Association
• 1967 - 1980 : Case Western Reserve University School of Library Science Alumni Association
• 1980 - 1981 : Alumni Association of the School of Library Science of Case Western Reserve University
• 1981 - 1986 : Alumni Association, The Matthew A. Baxter School of Information and Library Science
