American Federation of Labor. Federal Labor Union No. 20878 (Clinton, Iowa)
Workers at the Clinton Company, a subsidiary of the National Candy Company which produced corn syrup, corn sugar, and other corn products, organized into Federal Labor Union No. 20878 in 1937. The Local was an active member of the Iowa Federation of Labor, the Tri-State Council of Grain Processors, and the National Council of Grain Processors. The Local was rechartered by the new American Federation of Grain Millers as Local 6 in 1949.
