Provided electric power to Avery County, N.C.; Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, and Washington Counties, Tenn.; and Scott and Washington Counties, Va. Merged with Tennessee Eastern Electric Company in 1941. Purchased by the Tennessee Valley Authority in 1945.
