Sarah Evelyn Lewis, African American physician, graduated from Howard University Medical School in 1927. While at Howard, she was president of Zeta Phi Beta sorority and a member of Kappa Pi honorary medical society. She was a member of the Howard Players and involved in musical activities. She participated in many civic and professional activities as a doctor, apparently in the Washington, D.C. area.
