Macdonagh, Thomas, 1878-1916
Variant namesIrish patriot and poet.
MacDonagh's first book of poems appeared in 1902. He joined the Gaelic League and co-edited THE IRISH REVIEW. He was a founding member of the Irish Volunteers. He was executed for his role in the Easter Rising.
