Lyons, William W.
William W. Lyons became Deputy Under Secretary for the U.S. Department of the Interior in May 1973. His duties as a staff assistant to the Under Secretary were to carry out policy set by the Secretary or Under Secretary. Prior to that assignment, he worked in the Department of the Interior as the Special Assistant to the Secretary from January 1970 to August 1971 and as Deputy Assistant Secretary, Program Policy from August 1971 to May 1973.
