Platform for Peace (Organization)
Platform for Peace was a Seattle, Washington political action group, organized in 1960, primarily to initiate discussions of crucial issues in the 1960 political campaign. This group cooperated with the Committee for Political Action for Peace of Sunderland, Massachusetts; the 1960 Campaign for Disarmament of Washington, D.C.; and Platform for Peace of Eugene, Oregon. This group sponsored interviews and lectures by prominent political figures and employed a professional lobbyist in Washington, D.C.
