Garcia, Pilar A.
Nutritionist and ISU faculty member. Pilar Angeles Garcia earned a B.S.(1949) in Pharmacy from the University of the Philippines at Manila, an M.S. (1950) in Botany from the University of Michigan, and an M.S. (1952) and Ph. D. (1955) in Nutrition from Iowa State University. She was a professor at Iowa State in the Department of Food and Nutrition and is currently a professor emerita of that Department. She has researched and taught about the effects of nutrition on people, primarily women.
