Thompson, Martin O., 1882-1948.
Born at Paynesville, Minn., son of Andrew and Inger Thompson. The family moved to Fort Ransom, N.D. in 1884. After receiving his law degree from the University of North Dakota in 1910, Thompson began a law practice at La Moure, N.D., later moving to Lisbon, N.D. in 1914. Wed Nettie B. Martin in 1915. After serving as State's Attorney for Ransom County, he was elected as County Judge of Ransom County and held this post until his death. Died at Fargo, N.D. and was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Lisbon, N.D. His widow later wed Olaf E. Anderson of Fargo, N.D.
