Eagleton, Davis Foute, 1861-1916.
Davis Foute Eagleton was graduated from Davidson College in 1884. While a student, he was a member of the Philanthropic Society. After graduation, he taught and was a newspaper correspondent in Ladonia, Texas. He was also a professor of English at Austin College in Sherman, Texas.
