Rambo, Chris.
Born as Herbert Rambo on July 6, 1915 in Worcester, Mass. Chris Rambo was part of the Waldport, Or. group of conscientious objectors, which included poet, William Everson, and printer, Adrian Wilson, among others. Rambo identified himself as a gay man in the late 1940s, and settled in San Francisco shortly after leaving Camp Waldport.
