Downs, Wilbur G., 1913-1991
Variant namesWilbur Downs was an educator and physician, and served on the staff of the Rockefeller Foundation (1941-1961) and was associate director (1961-1971). He also served as director of the Virus Research Program in the Rockefeller Foundation's Division of Biomedical Sciences (1961-1971).
