Wellington, R. (Richard), 1884-
Variant namesWellington was a professor emeritus of pomology at the NYS Agricultural Experiment Station where he started work in 1906. His research focused on grape breeding, but also included other fruits and vegetables. He developed and named over 70 varieties.
