Huntley, Michael C. (Michael Carter), 1898-

Huntley served as Dean of Administration (1942-49) and Dean of Faculty (1949-68) at Alabama Polytechnic Institute (now Auburn University). Prior to that he graduated from Millsaps College, worked as a journalist in Jackson (Miss.) and Memphis (Tenn.), and served as the Chairman of the Commission on Colleges for the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
