Dorothee Hughes Carousso (1909-1992) was a certified genealogist who published articles in a number of genealogical publications. She also wrote fiction and verse for magazines and plays for television's Studio One and other programs. She was an honorary vice president and fellow of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania. She married George Carousso on December 31, 1930.
