Maria Jones in 1839; David Bush was his brother; Mary Hemphill Jones Bush (d. 1865), was a daughter of Lewis P. Bush, she married Caleb Rodney Layton; Mary A. Govan was a sister of Maria Jones Bush; Lewis Bush (1750-1777), Revolutionary War officer; d. at the Battle of Brandywine; George W. Bush (1824-1900),a brother of Lewis P. Bush, operated the family shipping business, George W. Bush and Son; Lewis C. Vandegrift (1855-1900), lawyer, of Wilmington.
