Mission '70

Mission 70 was a conference sponsored by several Southern Baptist Convention agencies to promote and inspire young people to become more active in vocational ministry during the 1970s. The involved agencies were: the Brotherhood Commission, Foreign Mission Board, Home Mission Board, Student Department of the Sunday School Board, Vocational Guidance Department of the Sunday School Board, and the Womans Missionary Union. Held December 28-31, 1969 in Atlanta, Georgia, almost five thousand college students, seminary students, and young adults attended the event that included dramas, musical presentations, and speeches.
