Farris, William, 1755-1841
Served with several Continental Army companies during the American Revolution; at that time, lived in Yarmouth, Mass.; thought to have moved to Maine in 1796 and to Vassalboro, 1802 and China, Me., in 1820. Applied for veterans pension in 1832 as resident of China, Me., Kennebec County.
