Stockton (Calif.)
Property is residence in old downtown business district of Stockton, Calif. on block bounded by Main Street on north, Market Street on south, American Street on west and Stanislaus Street on east. Early residents included Clement Detten (1851-1856) and George Roach (1856-1866). After 1870 none of the owners, which included boot merchant, George E. Weller (1871-1880) and physician, Frederick A. Giesea with spouse, Jenny (1887-1898), seem to have occupied the site.
