Harry Bull graduated from Cornell University in 1908 and from the Cornell Medical College in 1911. While at Cornell, he was a member of Nu Sigma Nu and Bandhu; participated in the Masque, Les Cabotins, and the Cornell Medical Society; and was a chimesmaster. He married Helen Dudley, a medical school classmate. They practiced in Ithaca, and she taught in the College of Home Economics from 1926 to 1949. In 1918 he worked with the American Red Cross on the Rockefeller Commission for Tuberculosis in Paris.
