Albert Louis Lieutaud was a French war veteran and author who moved to New Orleans, La., around 1929. He worked as an art and manuscript dealer from a shop at 531 Royal Street. Lieutaud played a key role in assembling the collection of General and Mrs. L. Kemper Williams, which formed the core of the Historic New Orleans Collection.
