Hedstrom, C. Edward,
Hedstrom grew up in Michigan City, Ind. He was employed on the Chicago, South Shore and South Bend Railroad, mainly as a motorman, from 1939 until 1982. By 1939, the South Shore Line was the only commuter rail line between South Bend and Chicago.
