Liberman, M. M. (Myron Mandell)
Teacher and literary critic.
Myron Mandell Liberman was born in 1921, married Mathilda Nahra in 1958, and had two children. He taught English at Wayne State University, 1957-1960, and then Grinnell College in Iowa, starting in 1960. Liberman eschewed the use of his first names and as an author of literary studies, particularly of Katherine Anne Porter, he used only the initials M.M.
