Faulk, Ruth, 1910-1971
Ruth Trammell Faulk earned an A.B. from Huntingdon College in 1931 and an M.S. from Alabama Polytechnic Institute, now Auburn University, in 1947. She was assistant professor of English at Auburn from 1947 until her death in 1971. Her daughter, Carolyn Sue Faulk, earned a B.A. from A.P.I. in 1955 and a Ph. D. from the University of Illinois in 1964. She taught English at The University of South Carolina until her death in 1972.
