Santacroce, Mary Nell, 1918-1999
Variant namesMary Nell Santacroce (1918-1999) was born in Atlanta, Georgia, where she lived for most of her life, pursuing a career in teaching and in acting. She earned an A.B. degree in theatre from the University of Georgia in 1939. After a short period in New York City, where she attempted to launch a career in theatre, Santacroce returned to Atlanta and married Hugh Ivey. They had two children, John and Dana Ivey and were later divorced.
