Lutheran Resources Commission.

Hide Profile

The Lutheran Resources Commission was organized in 1969. In March 1973, it was requested that the Lutheran Council in the USA accept the LRC as an adjunct agency. With the phasing out of LCUSA in 1987, LRC was incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia on August 21, 1987 as a non-profit agency jointly held by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod. The LRC began publishing short reports in 1969 which eventually were given the name - "Special Reports".
