Bagley, Earl Gordon
Variant namesDr. Earl G. Bagley grew up in the Dixie Mill village of LaGrange, Ga. His father worked his way through various positions in the mill, rising to the position of plant manager. Although he worked part-time in the mill as a teenager, Dr. Bagley's father steered him away from a career in the mills. He later became a college professor and also served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga.
