Catherine R. Moirai (1947- ) is the daughter of J.L. (James Longstreet) Sibley Jennings, Sr. (1920-2003) and his first wife, Ernestine Moore Jennings. She has two brothers, David Jennings and J. L. (James Longstreet) Sibley Jennings, Jr. (1941-). She resides in Tennessee. J.L. Sibley Jennings, Sr. was born on July 7, 1920 in Union, South Carolina. He was the son of Henry Burrit Jennings and Josephine Sibley. After the death of his father in 1927, the family moved to Milledgeville, Georgia, the former home of his mother. He worked in the insurance and construction business, was elected twice to the General Assembly as a representative of Baldwin County, and served in the United States Army in Viet Nam and Korea retiring at the rank of Colonel in 1972. He was married three times.
