Paulette Meier is a singer/songwriter, peace educator, and social/emotional learning specialist. She is a former inner city school teacher, an advocate for women's employment rights, and a national organizer on nuclear issues. She later became a social worker and delivered mental health services to school children. In the early 1980s, while living in Washington, D.C. Meier became involved in the the People's Music Network. Upon returning to Cincinnati, she joined the women's choir, MUSE.
In the 1990s, she became a trainer with Cincinnati's Center for Peace Education. She then began working as an independent trainer and consultant in schools teaching peer mediation, conflict resolution and social-emotional learning skills. She has recorded her own songs to build unity and introduce skills and concepts for resolving conflict peaceably.
