Dabydeen, Cyril, 1945-
Variant namesCyril Dabydeen is a writer of poetry, prose, and criticism. Born in Guyana in 1945, he emigrated to Canada in 1970, and has degrees in English and Public Administration from Queen's College. He was Poet Laureate of Ottawa from 1984-1987.
