Variant namesThe Elections Board was created by Chapter 334, Laws of 1973, which transferred responsibility for administration of the state's election laws to the Board from the Secretary of State. The Elections Board was eliminated by Wisconsin Act 1 and its duties were assigned to the Government Accountability Board beginning September 1, 2007.
