UCF Women's Club.
The University of Central Florida Women's Club was founded in 1969 (when the institution was known as Florida Technological University) by female faculty, staff, and the spouses of faculty and staff "to promote the sociability and the advancement of university interests and ideals". To that end, the club has served not only a social purpose for university faculty and their wives, but also a philanthropic purpose through a variety of fund-raising efforts and has provided three endowed scholarships.
