Newspaper reporter and sportswriter.
Edward Bulger was born in Cambridge on May 1, 1904 and graduated from Boston College High School in 1922. Beginning in 1922, he was a sports writer for the BOSTON EVENING TRANSCRIPT. From 1943 until his retirement in 1970, Bulger wrote for the BOSTON GLOBE. He died on March 29, 1980.
