Howard, Margaret Emily Pagelson.

Margaret Emily Pagelson Howard was a physician who during the middle of the 1880s assisted in the maternity ward of the State Almshouse, Tewksbury, Massachusetts. There she met Dr. Herbert Burr Howard (1855-1923), who served as assistant physician (1884-1885, 1887-1891) and then as superintendent (1891-1897). They were married on October 1, 1886, and had two children: Charles Pagelson Howard (1887-1966) and Dr. Sarah Ernestine Howard (1892-1942).
