Gaines, Lloyd Lionel
Lincoln University graduate and Missouri native who filed a lawsuit to attend the University of Missouri Law School which denied him admission due to race; b. ca. 1912; dissappeared from Chicago, Ill., on the evening of Mar. 19, 1939, and presumed murdered.
