Fells, Bert
Mr. Burt Fells is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After high school, he earned degrees in mathematics. He served in the Air Force from 1966 to 1969, including a tour in Vietnam. In 1972, he returned to Mississippi and became the Executive Director of Forrest-Stone Area Opportunity, Inc. At the time of the interview, he was the Executive Director of the Head Start Program.
