Ford Motor Company. International Division. Purchasing Department.
Throughout the 1920s and 1930s, raw materials and tool purchasing was managed through Ford Motor Company's general Purchasing Department at Highland Park, Michigan and later the Rouge River Plant in Dearborn, Michigan. This department managed purchase orders and requisitions for production materials, raw materials, tools, machinery, and plant construction programs for domestic and foreign plants. The post-war reorganization of Ford's operations consolidated purchasing into departments within the various operational divisions including the International Division.
