Instructor/lecturer in English and in the Department of Extension at Columbia, 1909-1921. Dean of faculty and head of the English Department at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, 1921-1926. Professor of English at Clemson University, 1927-1957. Died January 17, 1964 in Pine Bluff, A.R.
