Southern Electric Steel Company.
Hugh Bigler, Roy W. Scholl, and William M. Neal established the Southern Electric Steel Company (SESCO) in Birmingham, Ala., in 1954. SESCO introduced electric steel furnace operations to the industry. It became Village Creek Company, then merged into Ceco Steel Products Corporation in the late 1960s.
