Bage family.
Anna Newsom Bage (1820-1891) emigrated to Victoria with her husband Edward Bage in 1853. Her son Charles Bage (1859-1930) was a Melbourne physician. Her granddaughter Freda Bage (1883-1970), biologist, was first Principal of Women's College, University of Queensland, 1914-1946.
