Hugh McLennan Kinghorn, Saranac Lake, N.Y., physician and tuberculosis researcher, was born on 9 Nov. 1868. He married E. Pearl Smith in 1928; they had two children. Kinghorn died on 7 Nov. 1957.

Kinghorn received an M.D. from McGill University, 1894, and was then Resident Physician and Acting Superintendent of Montreal General Hospital. In 1913, he became Attending Physician at Prescott Hospital in Saranac Lake. He was also on the staff of Saranac Lake General Hospital and Director of the Saranac Lake Tuberculosis Society.
