Leva, Marx, 1915-1997
Marx Leva (1915-1997) was a lawyer and Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense from 1947 to 1948. From 1948 to 1949, Marx served as the General Counsel for the Department of Defense, and from 1949 to 1951, served as Assistant Secretary of Defense. Marx was a member of the U.S. President's Committee to Study the Military Assistance Program (Draper Committee) from 1958 to 1959.
