Lawyer, of New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey; graduated from Rutgers College, 1873; read law in the office of his father, Garnet B. Adrain; admitted to the New Jersey bar as an attorney, 1876, and as a counselor, 1885; served in the New Jersey Senate, 1888-1894, as Middlesex County Prosecutor, 1890-1891, and as New Brunswick City Attorney, 1910-1911.
Garnet B. Adrain: lawyer and U.S. Congressman, of New Brunswick; graduated from Rutgers College, 1833; read law in the office of his brother, Robert Adrain; admitted to the New Jersey bar as an attorney, 1836, and as a counselor, 1839; served in the U.S. House of Representatives, 1857-1861.
