Greene, Horatio Nelson
Horatio Greene was born in New Bedford, Ma., the son of David R. Greene. He later settled in Vineland, N.J., where he was active in community affairs and local politics. Greene was president of the Vineland National Bank and the Red Deer Consolidated Silver Mining Company. He served as a Freeholder of Landis Twp., superintendent of St. Paul's Church Sunday school, and president of the park association. Greene and his wife, Emma, traveled extensively. He wrote a column for his local newspaper about his trips.
