White, Henry, Mrs.
The collector's husband, Henry White, 1850-1927, was an American diplomat. He was ambassador to Italy, 1905-07, ambassador to France, 1907-09, and member of the U.S. Peace Commission, Nov., 1918. He labored for U.S. entry into the League of Nations, 1918-19.
