Downing, Herbert C.
Missionary, educator; born in Kenya, ca. 1905, the son of Africa Inland Mission pastor and admininstrator Lee H. Downing; attended school at Rift Valley Academy (RVA) in Kenya; served as teacher and principal of RVA, 1933-38, 1947-74; died in 1989.
