Hollis Street Theatre.
Designed by John R. Hall and opened in 1885, the Hollis Street Theatre was one of Boston's most fashionable theaters. It featured such performers as Maude Adams, Henry Irving and Sarah Bernhardt. The theater was razed in 1935.
