Waterside Workers' Federation of Australia. Federal Council.
The W.W.F. was formed in February 1902 as a result of moves led by W. M. Hughes. Ten of the various wharf labourers' organisations in Australia joined at once, and by the end of 1902 there were 18 branches. The first comprehensive award was obtained in 1915.
