Gillman, Frederick Charles

Frederick Charles Gillman (b. 1898 at York) was educated at Sidcut, a Quaker school in Somerset. With the Friends' Ambulance Unit he served from Jan. 1917 at Dunkirk headquarters and with Section Sanitaire Anglaise No. 19 on the Western Front. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre in 1918. He served with the RAF (Royal Air Force) in the Second World War.
